Aldi shoppers are raving about new dupe that tastes ‘just like’ a Greggs favourite

Published on November 23, 2022 at 05:14 PM

ALDI shoppers are raving about a new snack that tastes exactly like a Greggs staple.

The budget supermarket is known for its copycat products and its festive bakes are nothing new.

The Aldi dupe has already sold out online but customers can stock up in-store
Shoppers can bag two Aldi festive bakes for just 99p

Aldi’s new 99p festive bakes launched online and in-store earlier this week and they’re already proving a hit with shoppers.

The 308g Crestwood Festive Bakes come in packs of two.

They work out at around 49p per bake – a whole £1.30 cheaper than Gregg’s festive bakes which retail at £1.80.

Aldi’s festive bakes have proved such a hit, that customers can no longer buy them online.

But shoppers can still fill their trolley with the Greggs dupe at their local Aldi store.

You can find your nearest store online using the Aldi store locator on its website.

The festive bake contains chicken breast pieces with smoked bacon, sage seasoning and cranberries, in a creamy sauce, wrapped in golden pastry.

The festive bakes come frozen and take just 26 minutes to cook at 200°C.

Fans of the Aldi festive bake shared their views on Facebook. One shopper said: “Giving these a go”;.

Another said: “These are delicious, just like Greggs.”;

A third fan said: “These are gorgeous, we tried them yesterday.”;

Aldi also sells other Greggs dupes.

Shoppers can bag two knock-off steak bakes for £1.15 and two chicken bakes for the same price.

The supermarket also launched a new festive tipple right in time for Christmas.

The budget supermarket is now selling a £5.49 amaretto liqueur and customers are thrilled.

The liqueur is a dupe of the more expensive Disaronno Velvet Liqueur which retails at £16.50, meaning that customers buying the Aldi dupe will save over £11.
