I’m a flight attendant and there is a very expensive item passengers always lose on planes – here is how to avoid it

A FLIGHT attendant has revealed the most common item that passengers lose on the plane – and how to avoid it happening to you.

A TikTok user who goes by the name ‘Respect the Journey’ often shares her top fips as a flight crew member.

A flight attendant has revealed a clever item she swears by when flying with AirPods

She recently explained how people flying with wireless headphones can have problems on flights.

She told her thousands of followers: “If you fly and use AirPods, such a product like this so they don’t become lost forever in the dark abyss of the airplane!”

She added in the comments: “Almost every flight someone loses them. 90 per cent of the time we never find them.”

People shared their own horror stories of losing them during a flight.

One person commented: “I lost mine on a flight, the case fell off of my jeans’ pocket when I slept on the side.”

Another said: “Just happened to me on flight from Tampa to Phoenix, lost one in the abyss.”

A third wrote: “That happened to me! Expensive AirPods lost forever. I had the cleaning crew tearing the plane apart.”

Lots of people joked that the wire just makes them like normal headphones.

However, she added: “I just use them when I fly! I’ve seen too many go missing on flights.”

They can be found on Amazon for as little as £4.49 for two, working out to just £2.25 each.

Traveller Laura revealed the handy way she uses her wireless headphones during a flight to watch films on the entertainment screen.

Currently, airlines offer headphones to watch films and TV shows during the flight – but Laura said there was a way to use your own Bluetooth headphones instead using a gadget called AirFly.

She said in her TikTok video: “This little gadget is a lifesaver when it comes to long flights and you’re definitely going to want to add it to your list of travel must haves.”

“It’s a Bluetooth pairing aux cord which lets you pair directly to your AirPods so you can listen and watch movies on demand.”

Here is another item a flight attendant swears by which will cost you just £3.20.
