IT’S good news for Greggs fans as seven new items have been added to its festive menu.
The bakery chain announced its Christmas offering last month and has now added even more treats.
The items are all cakes and biscuits so are perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
They’ve been added to the festive offering already available including the popular festive bake and the pigs and blankets baguette.
You can pick up each of the items in your closest Greggs now or order it to your home via the JustEat app.
We’ve rounded up each of the new additions and their prices and calories.
First up is the Christmas cake slice for £1.20 and 417 calories.
It’s made with fruit and ground almonds, topped with a layer of apricot jam, almond marzipan and white icing.
You can also pick up a six-pack of shortbread bites for £1.60 and 94 calories per bite.
Next up is the Christmas tree biscuit, made from ginger biscuit and coated in milk chocolate.
It’s decorated with sprinkles and a little sugar paste star on the top.
The biscuit costs £1.05 and is 173 calories.
If a Christmas tree isn’t your festive shape of choice, Greggs has also brought back its star biscuit.
For £1 you can also grab a Christmas bun, which is a vanilla sponge cupcake dipped in icing and topped with sprinkles.
Each cake has little festive cartoon sugar paste decoration on top, you can choose from a penguin, a Santa, a Christmas tree or a Rudolph.
The cakes are all 202 calories each.
Chocolate fans can also choose a choc cake bar for £1.20 and 292 calories.
The sponge cake bar is coated in milk chocolate and topped with a festive sugar decoration to make your afternoon cuppa a little more merry.
Finally, Greggs has brought back its sweet mince pies.
You could grab one for 60p or a six-pack for £1.95.
They’re made from crumbly shortcrust pastry, filled with a sweet mincemeat made from vine fruits, Bramley apple, candied orange and lemon peel, and finished with a light dusting of icing sugar.
Greggs isn’t the only food chain to have released its festive menu this year, McDonald’s, Subway and Wetherspoons have all revealed theirs too.
