Shoppers spot huge discount on Christmas essential in Home Bargains

Published on December 15, 2022 at 05:49 PM

SHOPPERS have been rushing out to buy a chocolate selection box from Home Bargains that’s selling for more than half price.

The Nestle Christmas Selection Box is selling for just 99p, down from £2.50.

The shopper spotted the reduced festive box for just 99p

An eagle-eyed shopper spotted the offer in their local Home Bargains store and shared a photo to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

The post has been liked hundreds of times and dozens of people have commented on it.

One said: “Omg I want.”;

Another, tagging their friend in the comment, said: “If you see these grab me 10.”;

While a third added: “Ohhhh guess where I’m going tomorrow.”;

We’ve approached Home Bargains to find out if the discount applies across all stores and will update this story when we’ve heard back.

The selection box includes a number of classic chocolates, including Yorkie, Kit Kat, Aero and Fruit Pastilles.

One thing to note is that the products contain milk and wheat and may contain nuts, peanuts and gluten.

So if you’re intolerant to any of these, you should give the box a swerve.

Of course, you should always shop around when looking at buying any product.

Websites like trolley.co.uk let you compare the price of food items across a number of high street supermarkets.

We checked online and the Nestle Christmas Selection Box is the cheapest at Home Bargains at 99p.

Morrisons has slashed the price from £3 to £2, but that’s still over £1 more expensive.

Iceland is selling the sweet treat box for £3 or two for £5.

In other news, Home Bargains shoppers were rushing to the shop this month to pick up a “gold dust”; gadget.

Plus, last month, customers couldn’t get enough of a huge advent calendar with £60 worth of products for £15 inside.
