5. Hot water bottle or cherry pit pillow

A hot-water bottle or a cherry pit pillow provides quick relief for abdominal pain, improve blood circulation and ensure relaxation. The heat inhibits the pain receptors and has a relaxing effect on the muscles. Make sure the water isn’t too hot as this could make the pain worse. A cherry pit pillow can easily be heated in the microwave and placed on your stomach. At 600 watts, it has reached the perfect temperature after just under a minute.

7. Cumin oil for stomach pain

Caraway oil is a proven home remedy because it has an antibacterial effect, stimulates blood circulation, and relieves the symptoms of stomach pain. Take 3 to 6 drops of cumin oil mixed with a little water with food. Alternatively, it can be rubbed between the palms of the hands and massaged in with gentle, circular movements. Dilute it with some olive or care oil. The skin absorbs the active ingredients of the oil and the caraway can unfold its healing effect.
