THE cost of living crisis is forcing shoppers to get savvy and find ways to save money.

Energy bills have risen for millions as households look for ways to cut back on costs.

Heated airers have been surging in popularity in recent months as they’re usually a cheaper option compared to tumble dryers.

Now, Home Bargains customers are flocking to the retailer to pick one up that’ll help save on bills.

The HomeApp store 220 watt heated airer comes in at £44.99 and costs roughly 7p an hour to use.

It features 18 heated bars and can take a maximum weight of five kilos. And it folds flat so you can store it away.

However, the appliance is so popular it’s currently sold out online.

We’ve approached Home Bargains to see what stock levels are like in-store and will update this story when we know more.

You can risk heading out to your nearest branch to see if they’ve got them in stock though.

But you might want to call ahead to check if they’ve got any in as it could save you some time.

Shoppers have spotted the heated airer online and sharing their excitement at bagging one.

One said: “Think I’ll get one!”;

Another person tagging her friend said: “You need one xx.”;

Of course, you should always shop around when looking for the best deals.

While no other retailers were selling the exact same model of heated airer as Home Bargains we found a similar one on sale at Wowcher for £36 – nearly £10 cheaper.
