Last Christmas order dates for 2022 – how to make sure you get your deliveries in time as deadlines are extended

CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and the shops are already packed full of customers present shopping.

Those who prefer buying gifts online have only got a few weeks to get orders in if they want to guarantee delivery before the big day.

Some retailers have extended their cut-off even further this year in a bid to keep up with shops offering deliveries right up until Christmas Eve.

ASOS and Currys are among the shops now allowing customers to order up until December 23 for Christmas delivery.

We’ve rounded up some of the most popular stores to compare cut-off dates for guaranteed Christmas delivery.

We’ve also included postage costs for fast track shipping, but it’s best to get your gifts in advance to avoid hefty fees.

Amazon

Good news for last-minute shoppers – Amazon will be taking same day deliveries right up until the morning of Christmas Eve.

The online retailer will also be offering next day deliveries up to Friday December 23 in the evening, meaning your items will arrive the day before Christmas.

Both same day and next day delivery is free for Amazon Prime members, but those without Prime will have to pay between £3.95 and £5.49 for next day delivery or £5.99 for same day.

Argos

Argos customers will be able to order up to 1pm on Christmas Eve for same-day fast track delivery before 6pm.

Same day and next day delivery will continue to be offered throughout December.

All delivery slots are booked on a first come, first served basis.

Fast track same day delivery costs £5.95, while fast track and standard delivery costs from £3.95.

ASOS

The last UK order date before Christmas for ASOS customers will be December 23, for orders placed with UK next day delivery.

ASOS Premier customers receive free next day delivery all year round, for an annual subscription of £11.95 when you spend a minimum of £10 on the site.

All other customers will need to pay £5.95 for next day Delivery.

Boohoo

Shoppers can order gifts from Boohoo up until December 23 using next day delivery for delivery before Christmas.

This costs £5.99, unless you have a Boohoo Premier account.

Boohoo Premier usually costs £12.99 for an annual subscription, but is currently on offer for £9.99.

Burton

Menswear brand Burton will also offer next day delivery up until December 23.

Customers who want to ensure their item arrives by the big day will have to pay £5.99 for the service.

Currys

Currys has a range of options for guaranteed Christmas delivery, depending on what you are ordering.

Customers who want free delivery will have to get their orders in by December 18 to get the item before the big day.

Paid delivery for big box items will need to be ordered by December 21, while smaller items can be ordered up until December 22 using its paid for service.

Debenhams

Customers can order from Debenhams up until December 23 for Christmas delivery.

UK next day delivery costs £5.49 per order, or is free for Debenhams Unlimited customers.

The subscription usually costs £18.99 annually but is currently on offer for £9.50 in a Black Friday sale.

Disney

The Christmas cut-off dates for Disney are December 19 for standard UK delivery or midday on December 22 for express delivery.

Standard delivery costs £3.95 per order, while express costs £5.95.

John Lewis

John Lewis has not yet confirmed when its Christmas cut-off will be, but has advised customers to keep an eye on its website for updates.

In previous years, the cut-off has been between December 19 and 22.

Marks & Spencer

M&S customers can order using click & collect or next day delivery up until December 23 for arrival by Christmas.

Standard deliveries will need to be ordered by December 19 if you want to make sure they arrive in time.

Misspap

Misspap is offering delivery up until Christmas Eve, with customers needing to place orders using their next day delivery option on December 23.

Next day delivery costs £5.99, or is free with VIP Delivery.

VIP Delivery is an annual subscription that usually costs £9.99 but has been reduced to £7.99 in a Black Friday sale.

Pretty Little Thing

Pretty Little Thing will also be taking next day delivery orders right up until December 23.

It also offers an annual subscription service that makes this free, PLT Royalty, which is currently on offer for £9.99.

Next day deliveries for customers without a subscription will cost £5.99.
