A MUM has revealed how she paid just $5.60 (£4.90) to sit in first class during a flight – and people are shocked.

The Singapore Airlines suite came with a bed and huge TV

In a recent video, they showed off a luxury seat with Singapore Airlines while flying from New York to Germany.

Inside the ‘suite’ was one of the mums sitting in a huge leather chair, with a single bed, widescreen TV and lots of personal space also inside.

They explained how they managed to get the mega suite for such a tiny amount on the seven-hour flight.

By using 143,000 credit card points, they only had to pay the extra which was less than a fiver.

The video has been watched more than 4.7million times on TikTok and people have been left in awe, calling it “amazing”.

One person said: “Yoo these airplanes getting fancier than my house.”

Someone else agreed: “My whole family of 6 could live comfortably in that suite.”

A third joked: “That’s not a seat, that’s a hotel room.”

Singapore Airlines’ Singapore Suites are some of the fanciest seats in the world.

In 2018, Channel 4 documentary The World’s Most Luxurious Airline lifted the lid on how much the suites cost to design.

Alex Cameron, programme manager at Zodiac Aerospace, the company who are designing the upgraded suites said: “One of these will cost the same as a three bedroom house.”

Emirates is also known for its amazing first class suites.

The suites on their Boeing 777-300 planes are a 40-square-foot private cabin with a “zero gravity” seat, wide-screen TV and binoculars to take advantage of the views from the three windows.

Here are some other amazing first class suites on airlines.

And a flight attendant has revealed how to get a first class upgrade for free.
