Royal Mint releases coins marking 60 years of the Rolling Stones

COINS marking 60 years of the Rolling Stones have been launched by The Royal Mint.

The design has silhouettes of Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and the late Charlie Watts.

The band said: ‘We are delighted to be honoured by way of an official UK coin’

Prices start at £14.50 — and a gold coin with a £1,000 face value value costs £76,135.

It is the Mint’s fifth of the Music Legends series.

The collection is one of its most popular to date.
