TESCO has launched a massive toy sale with prices starting from just £4.
In the run up to Christmas, shoppers can get their hands on toys from Harry Potter kits to Paw Patrol dragons.
Tesco has announced a huge 50% off toy sale starting now – with prices starting from £4.
Do note you’ll need to have a Clubcard handy to grab most of these deals, but the sale is both online and in stores so keep an eye out at your local branch in case we missed other discounts.
The sale lasts from now until December 28 which leaves plenty time for Christmas shopping, but keep in mind added delivery costs if you’re ordering home.
Of course, you should always remember to look around for the best deals as you might find something cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like trolley.co.uk can be useful for food shopping while Latest Deals shares what discounts customers can get at a range of retailers.
We checked online to see how much some of the toys were selling for at other retailers and found them cheaper in some cases.
For example, Argos is selling the RC Velociraptor toy for £22.50 – £5.50 less than Tesco.
Below are some of the toys on offer in the Tesco sale.
Harry Potter Great Hall Magic Snow Kit
- Was: £6. Now: £4. Save: £2
As the winter draws in, your kids can have a play with the Hogwarts Great Hall – decorating it with snow however they please.
You’ll need to build the hall yourself – but it shouldn’t take long. Here are its measurements:
- H14cm x W14cm x D4cm
Once built, there’s a magic liquid which you carefully paint over the top.
Leave it overnight, and it should turn into snow. It’s the perfect way to spend Christmas Eve in preparation for an exciting morning.
Remember this is a Clubcard deal – and from this month, customers using the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app will now get personalised coupons every two weeks.
The coupons will be selected based on your previous shopping and include bonus points and instant discounts to use both in-store and online.
For example, you could get coupons to earn extra points on a Christmas outfit from F&F or money off a cheese board.
The digital coupons will be available to scan on the app, so you don’t need to worry about losing track of paper coupons.
Orchard Toys 4 In 1 Selection Pack
- Was: £34. Now: £13.50. Save: £20.50
This four-in-a-box collection of games is the perfect gift for Christmas Day.
Aimed at toddlers to help them learn words, animals, numbers and colours, you get the following games in the box:
- First Words – match the picture to the word
- Farm 4 in a box – four farm-themed jigsaws
- Dino Dominoes – a fun dinosaur-inspired version of dominoes
- Funny Flamingoes – count how many rings you can collect to match your flamingo’s colour
This is a Clubcard deal.
We found a very similar version of this boxset from Sainsbury’s for £5.99, but it’s currently sold out online.
Lego Disney Encanto House
- Was: £45. Now: £36. Save: £9
If your child loves Lego, this one is a must-have.
Made up of 587 pieces, it’s a classic scene taken from this year’s Disney animated favourite, Encanto.
It comes with:
- A simple building guide
- Digital instructions if you’ve downloaded the Lego app (there should be a barcode to scan somewhere on the product)
- Three mini Lego dolls
We also found a Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle made of 654 pieces from Tesco’s sale – it’s now £64, down from £80.
You need a Clubcard for these deals.
Paw Patrol Spark The Dragon & Claw
- Was: £30. Now: £20. Save: £10
For ages three and up, this fun dragon set comes with a Sparks the Dragon figure, complete with super wings, a saddle and two projectiles, along with a miniature Claw the Pup figure.
You can pop Claw in Spark’s saddle, squeeze his tail to make his wings flap and spend hours creating and imagining an exciting play time.
This is also a Clubcard price.
It’s cheaper at Tesco than at Asda – which sells the same set for £2 more at £22.
It’s even more expensive at Argos – which charges £30.
Rc Velociraptor
- Was: £40. Now: £28. Save: £12
This remote-control dinosaur can grant hours of fun, complete with a moving tail and realistic walking movements.
You’ll need to charge it with the USB adapter included, plus two AA batteries which you’ll need to buy yourself.
We also found it at WHSmith for £25 – £3 cheaper than Tesco – but Amazon charges more for £31.99, plus delivery fees.
To get the deal from Tesco, you’ll need a Clubcard.
Elsewhere, there’s also a giant Lidl toy sale on with prices starting from just £1.69.
The German discounter is selling everything from magnetic drawing boards to a Barbie Dream Camper this year.
