It comes as there was a reshuffle of the UK menu which saw some items added and others taken away last week.
The wedges release was delayed for a week much to the disappointment of many.
They cost £2.29 for a portion of five, which is 213 kcal, or £5.99 for a sharebox, which is 639 kcal.
Each wedge is filled with melted nacho cheese and spicy Jalapeno slices, covered in a crunchy coating and they are served with Maccies sour cream and chive dip.
Fans of the cheesy bites have been sharing their excitement for the item on TikTok as they return for the first time since last year.
Since the news broke there have been several videos posted alerting users.
A McDonald’s employee was among those sharing the new additions to the menu set to land last week.
One Maccies fan commented: “NACHO CHEESE WEDGE SUPREMACYYYYY I wish theyâd put these on the menu permanently.”
Another was sad to find the wedges were delayed: “DELAYED NACHOS WEDGES NO I want them so bad.”
One user simply said: “Nacho wedges yum.”
It comes as mini potato waffles were added to the breakfast menu for the first time ever last Wednesday.
