TESCO shoppers can get a Maltesers selection box for just £2 – but be careful before you head to the checkout because there’s a catch.

Christmas is just around the corner, and many households will be looking to grab a bargain as food prices soar.

Tesco is selling a Malteasers selection box for £2 – but there’s a catch

Shoppers have been hammered by rising inflation, which is currently at 10.1% – and is now back to a 40-year high.

But there are still bargains to be found on supermarket shelves.

Tesco is currently selling a Maltesers Christmas selection box for £2 – but only if you have a Clubcard.

The 270g festive treat box contains two packets of Maltesers, a Maltesers reindeer, a Maltesers Teaser bar, a Milky Way, a Twix and a Mars bar.

You’ll have to be quick if you want to bag yourself this bargain, as it is only available until November 1.

For shoppers without a Clubcard, the selection box will set you back £3.

Morrisons and Iceland are also selling the selection box for £3 – the same price as it at Tesco for customers without a Clubcard.

The box is slightly cheaper at Asda where it is £2.50 – but it’s still cheaper at Tesco as part of the Clubcard deal.

If you’re thinking of getting a Tesco Clubcard to make the most of this deal, there are a few things you should know.

Shoppers can earn points as they shop which can then be used to turn into vouchers for money off food or other partner schemes.

Each time you spend £1 in store and online, you get one point when you scan your card or app.

You can register for a Clubcard online or in store, and it’s free to join.

Many stores are getting ahead of the game when it comes to Christmas this year.

Most supermarkets have already announced when shoppers will be able to bag themselves a Christmas delivery slot.

And there are also dozens of festive promotions appearing on shelves.

The Sun has recently revealed the cheapest place to buy Baileys this year.

But if you want to save yourself even more, Asda has launched two new Irish cream flavours as part of its Christmas range.
