FAUX fir is back in fashion for Christmas trees – so why not join the party?
Households will soon start planning their festive decorations. So here’s great offers on artificial trees . . .
BIGGER IS BETTER: Save big at Wilko, where there is now 40 per cent off selected artificial Christmas trees.
A 7ft Scandinavian fir-style beauty will usually cost you £85, but at the moment you can pick it up for a pocket-pleasing £50.
MINI SAVING: Good things come in small packages, especially at Argos. Get a 4ft artificial fir for £15 — or a fibre-optic one, also £15.
But at B&Q, save even more. Their 4ft tree is just £11.
LIGHTS INCLUDED: Pop into Marks & Spencer right now and take advantage of a 20-per-cent discount on most of their faux festive trees.
Save on Christmas lights with the 6ft pre-lit slim spruce — was £39.50, currently £31.60.
CUT THE COST: Spend over £75 at Homebase.co.uk on their Christmas range and get ten per cent off.
That means an artificial 6ft tree that was £79 would now cost you £71.10.
CHEAP BUT CHEERFUL: Head to Dunelm for excellent value this year. A 6ft Fake Essentials Christmas tree is £22.
But save that little bit more at Asda, where the same-sized pretend tree is £18.
