SHOPPERS are rushing to buy an item that fights condensation and only costs £1.
Poundland fans spotted the bargain and shared it to Facebook this week.
Condensation and mould can become a problem when homes grow colder during the winter.
It’s a nightmare to deal with and can often cause problems with your health if left unseen to.
However, many like to use damp traps to soak up condensation in the air – which work by hanging them up in your wardrobe or cupboard and letting sit.
They usually cost a few pounds on average, but shoppers have found the perfect one for just £1 from Poundland – shared to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
One fan said: “I have been using these for a few years now. I hang them in my wardrobe and have also started hanging them on my windows which makes a big difference.
“£1 from Poundland, but they get bought up very quickly.”
Another shopper wrote: “If you live in an old house, these are a must – I also used the moisture traps for my cupboards in my kitchen.”
And one more praised: “I use these everywhere in my house – they are brilliant.”
You can buy a single damp trap from Poundland on its website for £1 – but keep in mind added delivery costs if you’re ordering home.
If you’re looking to visit in store, you might want to call up first in case they don’t have any – stock might be subject to availability.
You can also find your nearest Poundland when you search its store locator on Google.
But make sure to shop around elsewhere as well in case there’s a better deal on offer at another store.
You can use tools like Google Shopping to compare prices, or download the Latest Deals app to search items and find where they’re cheaper.
For example, you can also find damp traps at B&M – but they cost between £2.50 and £3.99.
You can also find different types of moisture absorbers at Wilko – the ones we found online are a little dearer at £5, though.
And make sure to have a look in Asda – there’s a pack of four damp traps on its website for £4, or you can buy one for £1.25.
Shoppers have been praising Asda’s ‘damp tramp’ disposable dehumidifier boxes.
The boxes simply need to be placed in the problem area to help soak up moisture from the air – it really couldn’t be easier.
