SAVVY shoppers have found a bargain advent calendar that costs just £2 and will put a smile on your kids’ faces.
With just 6 days to go until December 1 it’s time you grab your advent calendars, especially with cheap prices like these.
The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups calendar is normally sold at £5 across most retailers.
But bargain hunters on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group have managed to grab the calendar at just £2.
They picked up the chocolate treat at their local Heron Foods store.
You can find your closest one by using the handy store locator tool on its website.
It’s worth bearing in mind that there are only 250 Heron Foods stores in the country and most of them are in the North and Midlands.
The calendar is only available in store and not online but you may need to be quick because at that price the stock likely won’t last long.
One of the posts was met with dozens of comments from people tagging their partners and friends asking for the calendar for either their kids or for themselves.
One wrote “if you see any get me one plz”, while another said “I need to get Stu one.”
One woman replied to her pal: “I doubt there’ll be any left at that price but I can go and look.”
Another commenter simply wrote: “Wow wow wow!!!”
While one woman said: “Jake would love this, where is our nearest one?”
Another mum wrote: “I’m going tomorrow Logan wants one too.”
The calendar features the popular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups chocolates, with little mini cups behind 24 doors.
It weighs 242g so is quite weighty for a choc advent calendar.
This is the cheapest we’ve found this particular calendar, but do always keep an eye out for better deals we may have missed.
The next cheapest we found it for was for £5 at Tesco for Clubcard customers, Asda and Ocado.
Morrisons and Iceland are also selling the same one for £5.50 currently.
It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.
Prices can also vary day to day what deals are on at the time and remember you might pay for delivery you’re ordering online.
Stores may also cut their prices after December 1 so if you’re willing to miss a chocolate for the first few days then it could save you some cash.
You can compare prices on websites like Google shopping and Trolley.co.uk – which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.
