GET the day off to a tasty start with a brunch buffet friends and family will love.
The price of eating out can make a dent in your wallet, so create DIY dishes and youâll cook up some savings.

Here are my suggestions to make âbrunch a home win for lessâ.â.â.â
CRACKING DEALS: Boiled, scrambled, poached or fried, eggs are the basis of any great brunch â perfect with chunky toast and avocado.
Choose a box wisely to keep costs down.
At Sainsburyâs you can spend 55p per large egg for six Clarence Court free-rangers, but you will shell out less for a J James mixed-weight box of ten, also from free-range hens, at 14p per egg.
NICE AND CHEESY: Enjoy a taste of the Big Apple with a brunch of cream cheese bagels.
Bag a deal on five New York Bakery plain bagels at Tesco down from £1.75 to £1.25 for Clubcard holders, plus Philadelphia cream cheese, 165g, £2.20.
Or get more for your money with a pack of Tesco plain bagels for 95p, served with Creamfields soft cheese, 200g, 85p. Thatâs a simple swap that will save you £1.65.
PRICE FREEZE: Head to the freezer aisle for tasty savings on brunch.
Frozen pastries are a perfect stand-by for a freshly baked start to the day. Asda has six bake-from-frozen, all- butter croissants costing £2.50. Just add a smoothie on the side.
Asdaâs 750ml strawberry and banana smoothie costs £1.50, less than half the price of similar products from brand Innocent at the same store.
FLAT FEE: For the best-value brunch, pancakes are the perfect start. With cheap ingredients eggs, flour and milk, you can make a meal that all the family will love.
Keep some frozen blue-berries on ice â theyâre £2.40 for 350g from Asda â along with some maple syrup, for an instant American-style twist.
All prices on page correct at time of going to press. Deals and offers subject to availability.
