WEâRE all noticing higher prices at the checkout.
But loyalty schemes from super-markets and high street shops can help your money go further.
Here, bargain-hunter Tom Church, of Latestdeals.co.uk, shares his point-boosting tips.
FREE POINTS: Some loyalty schemes give you points just for downloading their app.
The offers vary from week to week, but Nectar has previously given 2,000 points, worth £10, for signing up.
Tescoâs Shopper Thoughts app gives you 100 Clubcard points, worth a total of £1, for each survey you complete.
BOOST YOUR BALANCE: Schemes often offer extra points for buying specific products. For example, Superdrug offers Health & Beautycardholders triple points on own-brand items.
Boots has âPoints Eventsâ where Advantage cardholders can earn double or triple points when they shop on those days. The next one is on XXX
GET A GOOD EXCHANGE RATE: Some-times loyalty card points are worth more when you exchange them for vouchers to spend with specific firms.
For example, Tesco Clubcard holders can use £8 worth of vouchers towards a three-month Disney+ subscription, which would usually cost £24.
You can also boost the value of your Nectar points by converting them into vouchers for specific shops.
PUMP IT UP: Some supermarkets schemes â including the My Morrisons, Tesco and Nectar cards and apps â let you earn points at their petrol pumps. You can also join loyalty schemes for Shell, BP and Texaco petrol stations.
PREFERENTIAL PRICES: Schemes sometimes offer cheaper prices on particular products for members.
These include Tesco Clubcard, Boots Advantage Card and My Morrisons.
At Sainsburyâs you can get cheaper prices by using the SmartShop scanner app, and it sometimes offers special Nectar prices to loyalty scheme members.
Download digital copies of your loyalty cards so you never pay over the odds if you forget your purse.
