Shoppers have spotted Asda’s Christmas advert mugs and duvets – they are all saying the same thing

ASDA’s latest Christmas advert has proved a hit with viewers after featuring Buddy from the classic movie Elf.

Now, the supermarket has released a merchandise range featuring the ad’s main character – and shoppers are loving it.

Buddy the Elf is the star of the ad, which fans have called Asda’s best one yet.

The supermarket has partnered with Warner Bros to bring the character back to our screens – a whole 19 years after the film Elf was released.

The premise of the advert revolves around Buddy starting a trial shift as an Asda shop floor worker.

Eagle eyed shoppers have spotted the new homeware collection in Asda stores and everyone is jumping to get their hands on it.

Pictures of the full range was posted by Money Saver by Dansway on Facebook.

Fans of the film will be able to grab various items from cushions to mugs to cosy blankets.

The post has received hundreds of comments from excited shoppers and they’re all in agreement – they need it all.

One woman said: “I need every single one of these things!”



Another wrote: “I do believe I need everything here.”

While another commented: “Need go here.. buy bedding etc then watch the movie.”

One woman tagged her pal and simply wrote: “I need it all.”

The entire range is available at your local Asda store, which you can find using the store locator tool on its website, and online at Asda George.

Prices start at just £3 for a mug and range up to £27 for a reversible king-size duvet set.

A single duvet will cost you £17 and a double £22.

There are two cushions available featuring Buddy’s well-known lines in the film, they both cost £9.

You can also pick up a cosy throw for £8.

Also available is an entire clothing range featuring Buddy, there’s a whole host of options from sweatshirts (£24) and pyjamas (£18) to baby Elf costumes (£8.50).

Asda is not the only supermarkets making the most of its Christmas ad this year.

Aldi is also selling popular Kevin the carrot toy range to accompany its Home Alone themed ad.

The discount store announced that fans will be able to pick up the toys from November 17.

Meanwhile, John Lewis’ iconic Christmas ad was released yesterday.
